Estudo sobre a nova ponte sobre o Tejo: ninguém se entende Fevereiro 12, 2008

Depois da localização do novo aeroporto (ironicamente chamado novo aeroporto da Ota, em Alcochete) repete-se a história agora relativamente à nova travessia sobre o Tejo. O Ministro das Obras Públicas mandatou o LNEC para fazer o estudo entre duas travessias alternativas: Chelas/Barreiro – preferida pelo Governo – e Beato/Montijo – defendida pela CIP.

Hoje o ministro diz que «serão consideradas todas as propostas desde que estejam suficientemente fundamentadas»

O presidente do LNEC, Eng. Carlos Matias Ramos disse que não tinha mandato, nem tempo, para estudar outras alternativas.

Pior ainda do que o presidente do LNEC dizer uma coisa e o ministro dizer outra acho que nem o próprio Ministro das Obras Públicas entende o que Mário Lino diz, ou vice-versa. Não percebo é como ainda pode falar … no desempenho do cargo!

Taça de Portugal: Sorteio favorece os grandes

É caso para dizer que até no sorteio os grandes são favorecidos (será que as bolas eram douradas?). Tudo indica que vamos ter umas meias-finais da Taça de Portugal de sensações fortes, com presença previsível de Sporting, Porto e Benfica.

O sorteio dos Quartos de Final pôs os grandes a jogarem em casa frente a equipas de escalões inferiores – Porto e Benfica – e no caso do Sporting contra uma equipa da Liga é certo, mas que está no último terço da classificação – o Estrela da Amadora.

Os jogos vão ser os seguintes:

Naval 1º. de Maio-Vitória de Setúbal
Sporting-Estrela da Amadora
Porto-Gil Vicente
Benfica-Moreirense

Os jogos disputam-se a 27 de Fevereiro corrente.

Só por curiosidade há praticamente um ano atrás o sorteio (efectuado em 13 de Fev. 2007) ditava

Bragança- Belenenses
Beira-Mar e Boavista
Braga- Varzim

Ou seja apenas o Sporting é repetente! E ano passado venceu a prova.

This protocol was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in May 2000. It currently has signatures from 92 different states. Unfortunately, the number of child soldiers has hardly changed since then. There are still 250,000 children used in the wars of the adults.

The Red Hand symbol, has been used all over the world by the Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers and many civil society organizations to say no to the recruitment and use of child soldiers. We encourage activities involving Red Hands to attract media attention, as well as the attention of decision makers and opinion leaders.
