Em todas as ruas te encontro – Mário Cesariny

Em todas as ruas te encontro
em todas as ruas te perco
conheço tão bem o teu corpo
sonhei tanto a tua figura
que é de olhos fechados que eu ando
a limitar a tua altura
e bebo a água e sorvo o ar
que te atravessou a cintura
tanto tão perto tão real
que o meu corpo se transfigura
e toca o seu próprio elemento
num corpo que já não é seu
num rio que desapareceu
onde um braço teu me procura

Em todas as ruas te encontro
em todas as ruas te perco

Remember

Remember !!!

In this day and time were war and hate are very dominand in every part of the world we should stop and remember that:

1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.
4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don’t like you.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. You are special and unique.
8. Someone that you don’t even know exists loves you.
9. When you make the biggest mistake ever,Something good comes from it.
10. When you think the world has turned its back on you Take another look.
11. Always remember the compliments you received.
Forget about the rude remarks. And always remember….
When life hands you Lemons,Ask for Tequila and Salt
Good friends are like stars……..You don’t always see them,But you know they are always there.”Whenever God Closes One Door He Always Opens Another, Even Though
Sometimes It’s Hell in the Hallway

“I would rather have one rose and a kind word From a friend while I’m here
Than a whole truck load when I’m gone.

Don’t you know the phrase?”Stop and smell the flowers”?See how many “bouquets” you end up with!

Happiness keeps you Sweet,
Trials keep you Strong,
Sorrows keep you Human,
Failures keep you Humble,
Success keeps you Glowing,
But Only God keeps You Going

Pareto in Life – the 80/20 Rule

This is one of the entries archived in my blog. I hope it will be of some use here.

So Who is this Pareto. No, he’s not my uncle. Maybe somebody’s. Anyway he is not that important actually, but his idea is. Click For more info on Pareto’s Principle

Bear with me for a while, according to him – 80% of all output comes from 20% of input.

A few examples will describe the principle better. So what Uncle Pareto said is that –

  • In 100 workers, only 20 workers are the good ones. If the other 80 didn’t come to work, 80% of the work for the day will still be finished regardless.
  • In 100 tasks given by the boss everyday, only 20 is important and if you can finish these, basically 80% of your work for the day is done. The boss will be happy already. Keep it up and you will start giving task being the boss yourself.
  • In business, 80% of your profit comes from 20% of your client. If you fail to recognize these client and get business from them, your company is already losing money.
  • In 100 ideas you come up to post in this blog, only 20 will benefit everybody

To sum up, in what ever things in life (friends, work, business), before you do anything, identify the key 20% and concentrate on these first. basically you have already achieve 80% of what you want.If not –

  • The workers may not be appreciated rightfully and leave the company to work in another. Company’s loss.
  • You may be so busy doing the small daily routine task, high profile projects are given to somebody else. He will get promoted someday and you are still doing the same small daily routine task.
  • Being greedy to get business from all available client, you accidentally neglected the important ones. Feeling ignored they awarded their RM1 Million tender to other contractor instead of to you. (* RM is the abbr. of Malaysian currency)
  • You spend your time trying to post all ideas in your head, and manage to do the 100 entries. But all entries are done in such a hurry, that there are of low quality. You eventually lost interest, and finally the blog is terminated and the rest of the world is at loss for not having to read the 20 best entries in the world.

We just can’t have everything now, don’t you think so?

Greetings from Malaysia

Cowards, Yes We Are!

Men are born to be cowards. We do not own supernatural powers that could change our thoughts and emotions, isn’t it? Sometimes, things freak us out when we are in no control of it. Then we become cowards. That is why we run away from problems before solving it. See, we always reserve the “solving” part as the last resort and place “running away” at first, because we fear. We are scared.

It is nothing wrong to be a coward, generally. But knowing the importance of turning back from the runaway is more crucial. Metaphorically, we are on a diverged cross road, where we are given option to turn back and face it, or continue to escape from all the riots in our lifes. As long as we identify which route leads to the turning point, by faith, we should get our feet on and walk for a new horizon. On the other hand, when you know you are frail and bore with the memories of failure, you wouldn’t have the courage to encounter the problems at the starting point. Soon, you will run further away which brings you to another episode of trials, and so on.

Problems are not to be solved in a blink of eyes. Remember, every problem has its root, and the root leads to many roots with stumbling blocks. Gradually, it will continue to lead you to the Valley of Kings ~ waiting for illogical incarnation to start a new life which is impossible.

It is not wrong to be coward-of –the-moment, but it is very wrong to continue your cowardness without a soul-searching journey in your deepest Call. Let us be a coward now, in order to accomplish more Herculean tasks in the future. He, will see us through.

To Cultivate

`Love does not dominate, it cultivates.’ Goethe

Learning to create is about learning to cultivate the peace from which inspiration flows.

This peace cannot be imposed through domination.

It rises from within with light and joy when the spirit is right, when one is able to find harmony and peace with all around.

The rush and circumstances of so many of our daily lives work so hard to negate these feelings.

It is a constant balancing of the world’s noise and `The Spirit’ to maintain this peace and its strength.

Some of my special ways to renew this peace are a walk alone or a meditative time with my favorite music.

Each artist needs to know their own ways to maintain this delicate balance.

Ways to stop the world’s noise getting so loud it blocks our connection with `The Spirit’.

As Goethe states so wisely we need to learn to cultivate not dominate to let `The Spirits’ love and light shine forth in our images.
