Sporting – Udinese : ineficácia desesperante dos "leoezinhos"

Sporting 0 – 1 Udinese

Domínio avassalador em termos de posse de bola (70 -30%), em pontapés de canto (13-0), em livres perigosos, etc, mas na estatística dos golos 0 Sporting perdeu. Uma falta de ineficácia desesperante. Estes italianos sabem-na toda. Antes dos dois minutos mandaram uma bola à barra por Candela. Aos 27′ marcaram de penalty e depois todos à defesa.

Ao remate à barra de Candela respondeu o Sporting com uma perdida de Liedson após excelente jogada pela extrema direita de Douala.

O Sporting joga bem (se o resultado fosse atribuido por um júri como a ginástica ou a patinagem artística, teria ganho!) mas no futebol o objectivo é golos (marcá-los e não sofrê-los) e quem fez isso foi a Udinese por isso ganhou.

O empate seria um mal menor e esteve várias vezes para acontecer. De Sanctis defende para canto livre de Tello (ainda na primeira parte), o árbitro Vassaras (mais um grego no nosso caminho!) não assinalou um penalty claro sobre Liedson, numa tabelinha João Moutinho à saída do guarda-redes atira ao lado. Sá Pinto atirou ao poste (74′) … depois a bola entra na baliza, mas ilegalmente. E ainda no último minuto após um canto o Sporting por Polga poderia ter feito melhor.

Sporting poucas vezes utilizou os extremos, o jogo foi muito afunilado e perante italianos que defendem bem e jogam ainda melhor de cabeça o Sporting foi ineficaz. Estamos outra vez a voltar à cassete de que jogámos bem mas não tivemos sorte … mas isso talvez não seja bem assim.

Remotas possibilidades de que a sina das nossas equipas nas pré-eliminatórias da Liga dos Campeões, perante equipas italianas, não se repita, mas a esperança é a última coisa a morrer.

Rui Silva terminou a prova dos 1500 metros dos Mundiais de Atletismo de Helsinquia no 3º. lugar, com 3′ 38″ 02 conquistando a medalha de bronze. A medalha de ouro foi para Rachid Ramzi do Bahrain (3′ 37″ 88) com a medlha de prata a viajar para Marrocos face à segunda posição obtida por Adil Kaouch.
Mais uma excelente prestação do atleta português que nos tem habituado a estar em grande nível nas principais competições desportivas internacionais.
 

Sporting – Última Hora – Rochemback e Edson de fora

Rochemback e Edson estão impossibilitados por motivos físicos de jogar esta noite contra a Udinese na 3ª. pré-eliminatória da Liga dos Campeões, juntando-se ao ausente já conhecido há dias , Luís Loureiro. Entretanto as negociações entre o Sporting e o Middlesbrough sobre Douala não chegaram a nemhum acordo e por isso o cobiçado extremo do Sporting vai participar no jogo desta noite – 21 h 15m hora de Lisboa.
